Pyramid at Chichén Itzá - Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico

Chichén Itzá is a popular Mayan temple city. It was the political and economic center of the Mayan civilization. Some of marvelous constructions of the city like the pyramid of Kukulkan, the Temple of Chac Mool, the Hall of the Thousand Pillars, and the Playing Field of the Prisoners can still be seen today. The pyramid itself was the last, and probably the greatest, of all Mayan temples.
